We have BIG news!
As some of you know, I am adopting miss Emma! We tried to do this process on our own but unfortunately messed the paperwork up and was told by the court that we need to hire legal representation to help us out.
We are beyond excited and are doing everything we can to be prepared to welcome a beautiful new life into our home. As part of our adoption process, we have started a crowdfunding campaign. It may surprise you to hear that adoption related costs can easily total up to $35,000 or more. This is why we have set a goal of $5000 to help with attorney fees and filing costs. We are currently very low income, but we are doing our best to make Emma happy. She is having her name changed to Emma Rose Alexandria Roy to represent the merge between our families and dedicating her middle name to her beautiful biological mother.
