We have BIG news!
We are adopting 2 children
God is go good! We never thought we would get to have children, but God had other plans. He has grown us and prepared us for this moment. When we thought about adopting we thought, oh a older girl probably through fostering. However it never got moving. Doors closed and now I know why. Because God's plans are bigger and always better. I work with a women's group that does ministry and we were contacted to help an orphanage in Uganda. With food clothing and school. And while they are preparing there hearts to go serve I am preparing my heart to bring home 2 Littles. I don't know them but I know they are there. God downloaded this overwhelming love into my heart for these girls. I can almost see them in my head. So much so my husband has agreed and we are moving forward in faith.
We are beyond excited and are doing everything we can to be prepared to welcome 2 beautiful girls into our home. As part of our adoption process, we have started a crowdfunding campaign. It may surprise you to hear that adoption related costs can easily total up to $35,000 or more. This is why we have set a goal of 50000 to help ease the financial burden that often overwhelms adoptive parents.
