I’m adopting! I’m so excited to begin this journey of becoming a parent, and so happy to share this news with you! After much thought and prayer I’ve decided that now is the time to start my family. With this decision comes a lot of anxiety and nervousness. Most of all, I’m overjoyed about my new adventure! I’m so thankful to those of you who have supported me over the years as I’ve taken on one adventure after the other and this will be the biggest one yet.
I am applying for grants and relying on other non profit agencies that will help. I have already saved some fund on my own, but there’s still a lot to go! My goal is to raise another $10,000. This will support the birth family, pay for legal fees, home study with the social worker and all the other aspects of adoption until I can bring my little one home.
I will continue to do my part and I’m only asking you to contribute what you can. If all you can contribute are prayers and well wishes, I will gladly accept that as well! Please feel free to share my request with anyone in your network. Thank you! LaVonda
