is adopting a child from Korea (Republic of)

It is time!

We are finally being given the OK to bring Ari home!

In the next 30ish days, we will be able to book flights for Ari to come come to NY. Gabe is going to be able to go and get her. We estimate flights to be $3000+, depending on how short notice they will be. We are trying to avoid quarantine and do a turn around in the airport in Korea so that Gabe does not have to stay there for 14 days. We will also have fees for 2 US attorneys; an immigration and an adoption attorney.

For those of you that might be new to our story, we have been in the process of adopting the most amazing little girl for 3.5 years. She was 2 years old when she came to us in 2017. She lived with us for 22 months while we were stationed in Korea. Like all military families, we got orders to move in 2019. We are currently stationed in NY and have had to be separated from her since June of 2019. The last time that we were able to visit her was in January of 2020. Covid has proven to be a very hard complication in this process. She is living with our amazing friends in South Korea, but it is time for her to finally rejoin us and complete our family.

We know that there are so many of you that have been following our story and supporting us financially and through prayer. We are forever and deeply grateful for each and every one of you. We know that this little girl is so loved by so many scattered all around the world. One day she will be able to share how so many people willingly gave a piece of themselves to help her join her family.
