We are a fun-loving family who enjoys spending time together. We have a beautiful home with a pool, and we live in a gated community with great schools. We are both gamers who enjoy playing tabletop games and RPGs. I am a homemaker who loves to read and write in my spare time. My husband is a software architect who moderates Livestream chats in his spare time and programs recreationally. We also have my husband’s mother living with us. She likes to cook, sew, and do crafts. We are looking to adopt a child who will become a loved member of our family.
We have an approved home study already because we have been foster parents for a few years now. Although we have been helping children and families in our community through fostering, fostering is not the way to adopt. The goal of fostering is to reunite families, which we agree with, but we also have a personal goal to add to our family. To add to our family we are hoping to find a birth or first mother who wants a good home for her child.
The obstacles to our family building include fertility issues. We have saved $8000 for a future child but the cost of adopting is high, usually around $50,000.
