We have BIG news!

My Wife and I have been on a long adoption adventure that will be coming to the final conclusion… PARENTHOOD! When? Three or four weeks!?!

As you may be aware, this kind of process can get pretty expensive. The average private adoption costs around $50,000 and that doesn’t even get you the first round of diapers or formula!

We’re paired with a birth Mother, what’s got us this far as paid up, and we’re all set for a birth here at the end of the month… everything is prepared but some legal fees we must pay will make us really, really tight. We have a lot on our plate, but not a lot of it has monetary value.

Our goal is $5,000 to cover costs and legal fees related to the adoption. Every dollar buys time she and I can spend with him in these first few months instead of working extra shifts, etc. We need to put our attention where it will belong… with him and each other in our little growing family.
