The seed of adoption was planted in my (Amanda&'s) heart in 2006 after my first trip to Moldova working with at-risk children in a small orphanage. After four summers of serving there, I returned home in 2011 with the undeniable call to open our home and expand our family through adoption. Sammy came on board and as we prayed through what this would look like for our family, we felt drawn to India. We officially began our adoption journey in September 2011. Since that time, we&'ve been able to raise $15,000 through our home business and the support of family and friends. As we eagerly await a referral for our little one, we are working hard to come up with the remaining $15,000 needed to accept our referral when it comes, and then travel to India to bring our sweet child home. We are so grateful for those who have and continue to support us through prayers, community, and giving! What a blessing to be on this journey together!
