Sara and Clarice A.

Hello there! Our names are Clarice and Sara and we are a couple in their late twenties currently living in  Indianapolis. We have been together for ten years and are hoping to adopt our first child. Sara has worked in the social work and mental health field for the last several years but currently works closely with youth experiencing homelessness. Clarice recently received her associate's degree in American Sign Language and Deaf studies and has the intention to continue her studies to receive a bachelor's in psychology. We have a perspective birth mother lined up. We have always dreamt of becoming parents and have talked about raising a family together though we have been unsure of how we could do so. Sara was first diagnosed with a seizure disorder as a kid and has been told that hormones are what trigger the seizures. While they haven’t had a seizure in nearly seven years, Sara has been warned that becoming pregnant may put them at risk of seizures due to the hormones associated with pregnancy. We want more than anything to adopt, raise, and love this soon-to-be-born child. We both have a passion for serving and helping the people of the community, though that, unfortunately, does not pay well, and adoptions are expensive. We are both so excited to begin the next phase of our relationship by becoming parents but we need your help to turn this dream into a reality. Any assistance you can provide will be greatly appreciated, no amount is too small and every penny helps us get closer to having this sweet child in our arms.
