The Schmid Family has BIG news!
They are adopting a child!
After almost 2 and 1/2 years in process the end is in sight! They are beyond excited and are doing everything they can to be prepared to welcome a beautiful new life into their home.
The Schmid's have been blessed with a very strong support system surrounding them in prayer and action. They are so grateful for all their family members, friends and the generous community that has offered them strength and encouragement along their journey.
They can't wait to meet their new little one and begin sharing their love!
It may surprise you to hear that adoption related costs can easily total up to $35,000 or more. Today's health climate has also increased international travel costs with possible in country quarantines and unpredictable restrictions as families go through the court process. This is why we have started a crowd funding campaign and set a goal of $20,000 to help ease the financial burden and help ensure a happy ending for this loving family.
We hope that by inviting you into this process, you will see yourself as part of the loving community that will be built around their child as he/she grows up.
They are currently expecting to be given a child referral sometime around December 2021 and can't wait to share more of their story as it unfolds.
