Brock Searle

is adopting a child from Colombia

After our fourth child was born, we were certain we were done having children. We even got rid of a lot of our baby things. So you can imagine my surprise when I received a powerful impression that led Brock and I to both know that we are supposed to adopt. Through much prayer we came to the knowledge that our child will come from Colombia.

This process has been a very humbling experience. We have always tried to be frugal and save money for future needs, but adoption is not an expense we anticipated having. International adoptions are very expensive–$35,000 to $40,000. The burden of that cost and the tremendous amount of paperwork involved is heavy, but we know this is the path we are supposed to pursue. We know God has miracles in store for us, and we are excited to welcome this child into our home.

As part of the adoption process, we have started a crowdfunding campaign to help cover the extreme expense. We would love for you to be part of this journey. Through crowdfunding, your donation will be tax deductible.

Your contribution would fill our hearts with gratitude. Many children throughout the world live in very poor conditions. Donating to help us with this adoption will assist in bringing one child out of poverty and give him/her a family who will love them dearly. We hope by inviting you into this process, you will see yourself as part of the community we hope to build around our child as he/she grows up.

Thank you so much for your help!

Brock, Amy, Annabelle, Lily, Charlotte, Axel, and future Searle
