After lots of conversations and prayer, we have decided to grow our family by adoption! We are beyond excited and are doing everything we can to be prepared to welcome a baby into our home. We are pursuing a domestic infant adoption and are currently in the homestudy process. We're thankful the Lord has brought us here, and we're thrilled to finally be fulfilling His calling for our family.
It may (or may not!) surprise you to hear that adoption related costs can easily total up to $35,000 or more. We have partnered with Pure Charity and set a goal of $15,000 to help ease this financial burden. Although these numbers seem big, we believe that Jesus is bigger than any financial barrier; and where He guides, He will provide.
We hope that by inviting you into this process, you will see yourself as part of the community we hope to build around our child as they grow up. It's true what they say: every gift, no matter how big or small, helps bring us one step closer to accomplishing what God has called us to do.
