#### #### I have BIG news!! I am adopting a child!
I’ve finished all the required paperwork, testing, and am home-study approved! Although I'm definitely nervous, I'm also very excited. I know this will be a long, and occasionally trying journey, but I have faith things will work out the way they are meant to.
I am beyond excited and am doing everything I can to be prepared to welcome a beautiful new life into my home. As part of my adoption process, I have started a crowdfunding campaign. It may surprise you to hear that adoption related costs can easily total up to $40,000 or more. This is why I have set a goal of $25,000 to help ease the financial burden that often overwhelms adoptive parents.
I hope that by inviting you into this process, you will see yourself as part of the community I hope to build around my child as he/she grows up.
