Our adoption has been officially approved!
We are waiting to be matched with our expectant mother and baby! This is a very exciting time but also a waiting time for us. We are putting our trust and patience in God during this time of our lives. We know that this waiting process may be long or short, BUT God is in control and we will use this time to grow stronger in our trust in Him. We are praying through this time that can be difficult and ask that you pray along with us. If you feel lead to help us financially, we thought a crowdfunding campaign would be the easiest way, and this platform also includes tax deductible donations. We are beyond excited and are doing everything we can to be prepared to welcome a beautiful new life into our home. As part of our adoption process, we have started a crowdfunding campaign. It may surprise you to hear that adoption related costs can easily total up to $35,000 or more. This is why we have set a goal of $40,000 to help ease the financial burden that often overwhelms adoptive parents.
We hope that by inviting you into this process, you will see yourself as part of the community we hope to build around our child as he/she grows up.
