We have BIG news!
We are adopting a little boy from China!
Though we've always been open to adoption, we had never actually pursued it. But when we were recently presented with this opportunity, we spent time in prayer seeking what God would have us do. And so we are stepping forward in faith-filled enthusiasm!
We are beyond excited and are doing everything we can to be prepared to welcome this 6 year old little boy into our home and family.
As part of our adoption process, we have started this crowdfunding campaign. It may surprise you to hear that adoption related costs can easily total up to $35,000 or more. We have set this amount as our goal to help ease the financial burden that often overwhelms adoptive parents.
We've all heard how it takes a village to raise a child. Well, we hope that by inviting you into this process, you will see yourself as part of the village we hope to build around our son as he grows up.
