UPDATE: We could travel to bring our boys home in as soon as 5 weeks!!! FIVE WEEKS!!! While we have been doing extra jobs, crafting, fundraising and applying for grants, We still have about $14,000 to come up with to fully fund our adoption. Would you pray for our family. Brian is a worship and youth pastor here in Washington and we have served in ministry all over the U.S. We have always wanted children. We planned to have sweet kiddos early in our marriage, but God had other plans. While praying about this, God made it clear through a radio broadcast with Steven Curtis Chapman that international adoption would be part of our story. We researched and prayed and allowed finances to be a barrier to us for many years. However, God led us to a precious missionary run orphanage in Taiwan and we brought our first son home in 2010. God "set the lonely in our family" again and we began praying about his plan for adding to our family. We felt led in the direction of China, where God had originally been leading back in 2001 (but we were too young for their age requirements at the time.) We applied and were matched with our son. A month later we were surprised with a call for a second sweet boy! While this added extra costs that we weren&'t expecting, we believe God will provide! There are millions of orphans around the world. We want to make a difference in these two lives so there are TWO LESS orphans and two more children in a forever family.
