We are adopting!
We are beyond excited and are doing everything we can to be prepared to welcome a beautiful new life into our home. As part of our adoption process, we have started a crowdfunding campaign. It may surprise you to hear that adoption related costs can easily total up to $40,000 or more. This is why we have set a goal of $20,000 to help ease the financial burden that often overwhelms adoptive parents.
We hope that by inviting you into this process, you will see yourself as part of the community we hope to build around our child as he/she grows up.
A little about our journey…
We have wanted to adopt since dating in collage. After 6 years of marriage we were still not sure about the right time or how we would ever be able to afford it. Last year Bethany began a long process with blood tests and imaging to prepare for another pregnancy. We learned through those tests that it would not be safe for her to carry another child to full term. Though we were saddened by the news, we also had faith in God's plan to grow our family through adoption.
Fast forward one year later we are thrilled to be one step closer to the baby God has chosen for our family through adoption.
