We have BIG news!
We are adopting a baby girl named Naomi!
We are beyond excited and are doing everything we can to be prepared to welcome a beautiful new life into our home. As part of our adoption process, we have started a crowdfunding campaign. It may surprise you to hear that adoption is expensive and the home study alone is over $1000. This is why we have set a goal of [$5000] to help ease the financial burden that often overwhelms adoptive parents.
I (Kala) will be off work for the minimum of 2 months after baby Naomi is born and her job unfortunately does not provide paid maturity leave. Im happy to answer any questions about the financial side of things that anyone may have ðŸ¤
