Our family has the enormous privilege of adopting another precious girl. (9 years old) Dear friends of ours got an email about E&'s situation and, while not being able to adopt her themselves, reached out to our family to ask if we might consider her. Es story is heartbreaking, but we know God has a beautiful future in store for her. E&'s birth mother passed away when E was 10 months old, leaving her maternal grandmother to raise her. Her grandmother has been in poor health for years, but in recent years has declined to the point that she is unable to care for E. Without other family, she made the heartbreaking, but loving, decision to make an adoptive plan for E. Thankfully, this will be an open adoption, where E will be able to remain a part of her grandmother&'s life. We got the call about E, and she was placed with us just a few short weeks later. E was placed with our family through Adoption Link, Inc., located a few miles from our home. We have just 60 days to raise the funds we need for E&'s adoption.
