We love adoption! We have been entranced by the vision of adoption since God rescued and adopted us Himself during our freshman year of college. Separately, God began to deepen our understanding of the importance and beauty of adoption, and formed dreams in each of us to adopt children into the family we would one day have.
Once we met and were married, we began to pray about how God was calling us to build our family and it was clear to us both that we would begin through adoption. We made the decision by faith to trust God to provide all that we would need to adopt a child into our family, everything from the right agency and finances, to leadership from others who have gone before us.
We are beyond excited and are doing everything we can to be prepared to welcome a beautiful new life into our home. As part of our adoption process, we have started a crowdfunding campaign. It may surprise you to hear that adoption related costs can easily total up to $35,000 or more. This is why we have set a goal of $30,000 to help ease the financial burden that often overwhelms adoptive parents.
We are humbling ourselves before you to say that we need your help. We need your prayers, your encouraging words, your generous gifts, your faithful guidance. We would be honored for you to be a part of our journey to adopt a child into our family and paint the picture of what God has done for us in Christ.
