Our family has been waiting to adopt another child and recently we had a surprising opportunity. We are now parents to a newborn baby boy!
Jaiden was born on August 3 and is currently in the NICU detoxing from meth and heroin. We all jumped in the car (our dog included!) to drive to Las Vegas where Jaiden is. We will be here until he is discharged from the hospital and the interstate adoption paperwork is processed. We have a bit of a long road ahead, as the doctors have assured us that the detox process is not the kind of thing that should be rushed. Prayers for our little guy are greatly appreciated!
Given Jaiden's unique circumstances, our adoption costs have been somewhat overwhelming, which is why we have started a crowdfunding campaign.
