We have BIG news!
We are adopting a child and Chula can't wait to be a big sis.
Those who have followed my journey to motherhood know that its been a long, arduous process. The process started several years ago with fibroid surgery and was interrupted by a life threatening response to IVF treatment. The physical healing time was short in comparison to the emotional time that it took to recover from the devastating news that I could no longer continue IVF treatment with the 5 remaining embryos. Thankfully I have an amazing support system of family and friends who encouraged me to continue my journey. I am so grateful for the opportunity to receive a precious gift and in return provide a loving, safe, stable home for a child.
My IVF journey costed over $30,000 dollars and it may surprise you to hear that adoption related costs can easily total up to $35,000 or more. This is why we have set a goal of 25,000 to help ease the financial burden that often overwhelms adoptive families.
