Our Story
Hello! We are Katherine and Daniel. We have been married for 5 years, and we live with our two dogs in Pearland, Texas.
Katherine is a music teacher currently teaching elementary music. Daniel is a police officer. He sees his job as a chance to give back to the community as well as help those in need.
For those that have a little time, here's a peek inside our story. Since Daniel returned from deployment in July 2017 we have been trying to grow our family but struggled with infertility and despite medical appointments, & treatments, there was no cause determined. We have always felt the call to adopt and started that process in Fall 2020. It's been a slow process but we are nearing our time for placement. We are using Alternatives In Motion (AIM) Agency. They are a Christian private adoption agency whose mission is to minister to women in crisis. The Fundraising We are beyond excited and are doing everything we can to be prepared to welcome a beautiful new life into our home. As part of our adoption process, we have started a crowdfunding campaign. It may surprise you to hear that adoption-related costs are high. The total amount of money for our adoption is $37,000 and this does not include all the other expenses of having a newborn baby. So far we have $13,000 towards our goal. Thank you to those of you who contribute you will help to ease the financial burden that often overwhelms adoptive parents.
