We are the Smith family; Josh, Holly, Addison(7), Liam(5), and Hudson(3). As many of you know, we have begun the process to adopt a little girl from China. Josh and I have both wanted to adopt for many years. In fact, we feel that God laid adoption on our hearts even before we knew each other. Through our marriage, we have known without a doubt that He would let us know if and when the time was right to start the adoption process. Jeremiah 29:11 says "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you a hope and a future." We believe that God has given us the resources to help the "fatherless" through adoption. He knew the plan for our future daughter and our family before we did! Family and friends have expressed an interest in being part of the journey to bring our new daughter home through a financial gift.
