We decided to host a brother and sister from Latvia for Christmas of 2015. Little did we know, by the end of the hosting, we had totally fallen in love with these two. In addition, it was also painfully obvious, we were the only "parents" existing in their lives. We prayed as a family and our children asked, "Can we adopt them?" My first response was, "You don't know what you are asking." However, we prayed and we felt impressed God say, "Say yes until there is a no." The next opportunity to say yes was to host them for summer 2016 and then again Christmas 2016. The moment they became clear in February 2017 tested our Spirit led directive, "Say yes until there is a no" and we said YES to adoption. This is not hosting, this is forever and we are very excited with anticipation as we prepare our home to welcome two more Smith children.
