Rena Spitzley

is adopting a child from United States of America

PLEASE help us make it official!!!!

We want to officially make Gabby a Spitzley.

We are beyond excited to be the new parents of our sweet beautiful loving 12 year old girl. She is our answered prayer after having 3 miscarriages last year, and as soon as she moved into our home we knew she was meant to be our little girl. She was placed in foster care and we were able to get custody of her as kinship because we are friends of the paternal grandmother who couldn't take her. She asked us to take her in and give her the Christian stable home she deserved with both a loving mother and father. Unfortunately since we are not blood related we could not get any assistance and after 90 days in our home she was no longer a ward of the state. We became fully responsible for her. She has settled in perfectly in the last 8 months and is so ready to be 100% ours!!! My husband and I want that more than anything as well!!! Since we don't receive assistance and don't make a lot of money it is hard to save up for all the legal fees of adoption. These include lawyer fees and home study fees. All our extra money is used to get her clothing and shoes, since she is hitting several growth spurts, to purchase school clothes and supplies for the upcoming school year, provide all her other basic needs, and to allow her to do fun things and be a normal kid for a change. As part of our adoption process, we have started a crowdfunding campaign. It may surprise you to hear that adoption related costs can easily total up to thousands of dollars. This is why we have set a goal of [$3,500] to go toward the lawyer fees, court costs, and home study.

We hope that by inviting you into this process, you will see yourself as part of the community we hope to build around our child as she grows up. God blessed us with this beautiful girl. Will you please help make our family complete in this last step?
