Even before we got married we discussed our desire to adopt. After trying to conceive for over 5 years, and having been married now for 9 years, we've decided to move forward with adoption. We have always wanted to have a large family of about 2-4 children. We are open to and approved for adopting 1-2 children, and are really hoping we can find twins or siblings. But that means almost double the cost. We know that if it is God's will for us to get two children, God will provide the funds. We are praying that we can be united with our child(ren) quickly, as we are so excited to become parents! But that means that we have to come up with the funds quickly, as well. My wife has also been making lotions to help with fundraising. As of right now, we have set a goal to raise $40,000.00, which will cover the expenses to adopt one child from Ethiopia. If we were to be blessed with twins or siblings, that cost would most likely double, but we'll cross that bridge when we get there.
