We have officially started our next big adventure - adoption!
We are beyond excited and are doing everything we can to be prepared to welcome these precious ones into our family. At this point we can't share too many specifics, but the plan is to adopt two siblings, ages 3-8, from Colombia.
As part of our adoption process to help off-set some of these major costs, we have started a crowdfunding campaign. It may or may not surprise you that adoptions aren't cheap. Thankfully we have had extra savings that we've been able to use, but a large portion still needs funded - around $35,000.
We hope that by inviting you into this process, you will see yourself as part of the community we want to build around our children as they grow up. We are firm believers that it does indeed "take a village" in so many ways.
