We are the Swink's from Campobello, South Carolina. We are doing a fundraiser to try to fund our adoption of our future baby boy! We have been married for 5 years and have an 8 year old daughter named Mikayla. We started our baby journey out by doing fertility treatments which resulted in no positive pregnancies. We then decided to give it one last shot by doing IVF. We only had 3 embryos that made it to fertilization. We transferred the first 2 but sadly our positive pregnancy test resulted in an 8 week miscarriage after hearing our baby's heartbeat one week prior. We transferred the last embryo, but sadly it didn't stick. We decided not to pursue anything else with trying to have a baby. We thought about adoption but until God told us that this was the right move, there wasn't much thought to it. In January 2020, we decided to start our adoption process of finally having a child. We were approved in early 2021 to be an official waiting family at Christian Adoption Services! Adoptions generally run around $35,000. This is a sacrifice we are willing to make to finally have our own child. We would love to be fully funded with our adoption but if you can't donate much, then donate your prayers for our future baby's birth family and for our family. We know God has us and we know that He will send our baby at the correct time. Our family will be patiently waiting and praying for our son no matter how long it takes. We can not wait to be a family of 4! We even said we would be open to twins and/or sibling groups!
