Our beautiful sibling set of three (3) from Africa know they have a family waiting for them in the United States. The two girls (ages 9 and 6) and their brother (age 7) have been in an orphanage in an African country that has been closed to foreign adoptions for several years and has just now reopened; therefore, these wonderful kids have been waiting for a long time to find their forever family. Our story (the brief version): As most of you know we have already adopted our beautiful daughter Addison from birth. We loved her so much that we knew we wanted to keep growing our family through adoption. After several miscarriages and several infant adoptions potentials that fell through, we decided to look into the foreign arena. During this initial look we got pregnant with our gorgeous Shiloh but felt the entire time that God still had a bigger family designed for us through adoption. When Shiloh was born and we were ready to continue the adoption process, we prayed and felt that God was leading us to go ahead with a foreign adoption. We called our adoption agency and they mentioned that they had the privilege of being the only US adoption agency to work through this particular orphanage that, due to the closed nature of adoptions in that country, did not have any infants but only older children who had been waiting for years for the adoption to open. Our representative at the agency went ahead and sent us the list of waiting children to show us the type of children that were waiting there. After much prayer and a surprising direction from God, we chose to adopt not a single baby but an older sibling set of three! Because we have not officially adopted these children, their country, their story and their information must remain private, but we can't wait to meet them face to face! Please pray along with us for love, family unity, financial provision, and cultural adjustments.
