We are so thankful and lucky to say our adoption finalized for our daughter late 2022 after a long journey! Our family of 3 has been thriving, we are even underway on a new home build so Astrid has a kid friendly neighborhood and schools she will thrive in!
This past week we received a call from our daughter's birth parents that they are expecting again and want us to adopt. Our hearts are overjoyed, but also hurting that her birth parents have to go through the grief associated with adoption yet again. Since it is such short notice and we are way underprepared this time around, we have started a crowdfunding campaign to help offset some of the costs. We have to renew our home study (expedited) and then prep for legal fees and support to the birth parents, as well as ICPC (required for non-FL residents to adopt). ALL MONEY DONATED IS 100% TAX DEDUCTABLE AND CAN ONLY BE USED FOR ADPOTION EXPENSES.
