Our Growing Family: The Journey to Baby #2

Welcoming our first child through adoption was one of the most beautiful and life-changing experiences we’ve ever had. The process was filled with hope, uncertainty, and deep emotion—but the moment we held our child for the first time, we knew every step had been worth it. Our home and hearts grew in ways we never imagined.

Now, as we begin the journey to welcome Baby #2 through adoption, we’re filled with a familiar mixture of overwhelming joy and cautious nerves. We know the road ahead may have its ups and downs—but we also know the immense love waiting on the other side. We’re excited to expand our family, and to give our child the lifelong gift of a sibling.

Adoption is a deeply meaningful choice for our family, and we’re grateful for the support that helps make it possible. Every donation—no matter the size—goes directly toward verified adoption expenses, and helps bring us one step closer to growing our family again.

    💛 Big Update!

    October 19, 2025

    We’re officially home study approved and now waiting to be matched! This means we’ve completed all the steps, paperwork, interviews, and preparations — and our family is ready to welcome another child through adoption.

    It’s such a mix of excitement and patience as we wait for the right match to come our way. Thank you to everyone who’s supported us with encouragement, prayers, and our fundraising efforts along the way — every bit truly means the world. 💕

    We’re Almost There!

    September 23, 2025

    We’re so excited to share that all of our adoption paperwork has been officially submitted! 🎉

    Now, we’re in the final stages—just waiting for approval from our agency so we can begin being presented to expectant parents.

    This part of the journey is full of anticipation and emotion. Knowing that we’re one step closer to meeting the little soul meant to join our family is both humbling and deeply moving.

    Thank you to everyone who has supported us so far—your kindness, encouragement, and generosity have carried us through the mountains of paperwork and preparation. We truly couldn’t do this without our community.
