Our Decision to Adopt is a great example of how God can bring something beatuiful out of a challenging season. After Ruthie was born, Stella experienced intense post-partum anxiety. We decided that it was best for her to not carry a child again. Yet, we both continued to love children and desired to see our family grow. We began to see that God had used our challenging season to lead us now to provide a home for a precious little one. Stella, especially, having worked with a family in college with adopted children, had been thinking about the possibility of adoption. Now our whole family is ready and excited for the possibility of loving a little one, instilling in them that they are a precious child of God, created for a purpose, and helping them to have life to the full.
