Here we go again!

The past five years have flown by and we have loved every minute of being parents to our little boy Miles, who we adopted in 2021. We still have room in our home (and hearts) for one more bundle of love.

But it’s no secret that adoption is EXPENSIVE! Costs for an adoption can easily reach 35,000 or more! Your donation, no matter how big or small, can help us realize our dream of becoming a family of 4.     Hi, everyone! Christan here. I just wanted to give a quick update to all of our wonderful friends who have helped us by donating to the adoption fund so far. I really can't say enough how much we appreciate everyone near and far that has helped us on this journey.

    We finished our home study exactly two months ago, and are now considered an "adoption ready family". Our profile can be shown to expecting moms considering adoption. If and when an expecting mom wants to meet us, we will sit down together with the help of our wonderful adoption professionals and see if it's the right fit for everyone involved. This part of the process is nerve wracking because there are so many unknowns but what we DO know is that the right situation will find us. In the words of one of Miles' favorite books, waiting is NOT easy! (but it is worth it).

    We're enjoying our summer and soaking up the quieter days before Dallas goes back to school and Miles starts kindergarten! While we wait, we continue to apply for adoption grants and save, save save.

    Dallas' birthday was on June 6th and mine will be on July 5th so if you're looking for a way to celebrate with us, consider donating to our adoption fundraiser! And, if you're ever in need of a face painter for an event or a pet portrait, I'm your girl and more than happy to trade my artistic skills for help with the adoption!
