Kristina and Dillon Atkins

Hello!

My name is Kristina, and my husband’s name is Dillon. We have two daughters, Lily (from my previous marriage), and Miracle. We also have three sweet fur babies Gracie, Gamora, and Valkaryie.

My husband Dillon and I have known each other for over 15 years, and been married for 3. The beginning of our marriage was full of sadness with multiple miscarriages, and then a time of infertility. After two miscarriages and then almost 2 years of infertility, we had our baby girl. Miracle. She truly was a miracle to us. We have since then had two more miscarriages.

After much discussion we have realized that having another baby is just too painful. Since I am continuing to have these issues with losing my babies, we have decided we no longer want to go that route. It has become too painful for us. It is draining me physically and emotionally.

We do not want to quit adding to our family, though. So, we have decided to go the adoption route! We did not realize until looking into it that the costs can be up to $35,000.
