I am an adoptive single mother, with a beautiful daughter who came to me from China 13 years ago. In 2019 I chose to pursue a second adoption from China, excited to bring home a new daughter and sister. Our dossier was logged in with China and I waited for a match. Then Covid happened. Five years of waiting later, China closed their adoption program to the world. We moved through the disappointment, and after a lot of prayer I have chosen to turn to India in hopes of bringing home a daughter. When visiting India years ago I was fascinated by their beautiful culture and country. I have an amazing niece who is adopted from India. We would be so blessed to add to our small family through adoption again, bringing a little more India into our lives.
