We are adopting!
After facing challenges in conceiving naturally over the past few years, it has been determined that the only way we would be able to conceive is through IVF. While we've seen other couples successfully build beautiful families through IVF, we believe God has a different path for our lives.
Therefore, we have made the decision to embark on the journey of newborn adoption!
As part of the adoption process, we've initiated a crowdfunding campaign. Adoption-related expenses can be substantial, often reaching $50,000 or more. To alleviate the financial strain that adoptive parents often face, we've set a goal of $40,000.
Our personal experiences with adoption, coupled with our shared journey through infertility as a couple, have only intensified our longing and commitment to embrace the path of adoption. We firmly believe that God guided us through the path of infertility to ultimately unfold a more beautiful and meaningful story in our lives.

Our homestudy has been approved!! We have officially finished the "paperwork labor" portion of the adoption process. We met with our lovely caseworker multiple times in our home. She got to know us on such a deep level. We were able to talk about our journey with her open and freely and she was and is such a blessing to us. We thought our caseworker would be located in Lexington and it would be quite a drive- but nope! By the grace of God she was just a few miles away from us.
Now we are in the waiting process! Any day we could get a call/text/or email telling us we have been matched. We wait in hopeful expectation but it can be challenging. Thankfully we have each other and we have our amazing family, friends, and church. Please be praying for us, our future child, and the birth mother.
We are still fundraising in multiple ways to help with the cost of adoption. There is an option to help us financially through this website, Adopt Together.

There is an open invitation to our "Adoption Celebration" at Johnny's Pizza in Grayson, KY on April 27th from 2-5pm. It is an open house, so feel free to drop by whenever and say hello! I'll also share the link to our registry. We would like to be mildly prepared for whenever we get the call that we're going to be parents!
