We are beyond excited to let everyone know that we are adopting a child! We have always wanted to grow our family and we feel that this is the right time to do it.
We want to provide a nurturing environment, and raise a child with the security of faith and worth. We want that for our biological son and for a foster child and potential adoption. Our Son, Landon has always wanted a sibling and has asked about it many times. I have spoken to him about the needs of others and often tried to make it as tangible and understood that there are many people in the world that need help, that go without, and that not everyone is “just like him.” In fact, in discussing fostering, we have discussed how a child might live with us for a little while and then return to their family, but that through helping, we will always be a family and it can turn into a lifelong friendship as well.
