Hello friends and family,

We’re adopting a child! For the past year, we’ve been working towards this by attending trainings, filling out paper work, and doing lots of research about bringing a child into our family. We are dual listed into the domestic infant adoption program and foster adoption program, through Lutheran Social Services.

Beyond the time investment we’ve made, we’ve also invested a large amount of money into this journey. We are home study approved, which means we can start the matching process to find a child. While we’re thrilled to be at the precipice of adoption, this stage of the adoption process is the most expensive part, which is why we’re setting a fundraising goal of $12,000.
