We are beyond excited and are doing everything we can to be prepared when martial law ends in Ukraine.
As part of our adoption process, we have started a crowdfunding campaign. It may surprise you to hear that adoption-related costs can easily total $60,000 or more. To help ease the financial burden and often the heaviest obstacle in adoptions. There is a Facebook group for our adoption process and updates on the kids that we talk to almost every day.
We hope that by inviting you into this process, you will see yourself as part of the community we hope to build around our children as they grow up. Our adoption agency will be An Open Door Agency when the time comes to sign with them. Right now we will file a form requesting an extension of time for teenagers to be available internationally for another year. The form and finger printing is just around $800.
