BRINGING ‘W’ HOME – WE NEED YOUR HELP!
As many of you know, in 2023, we adopted Aleja, our amazing daughter, when she was 14 years old. Now, we’re on a race against time to adopt her biological brother, “W.” Time is running out—once he turns 18, our chance to bring him into our family will be lost. We have LESS THAN ONE YEAR to make this adoption happen!
The journey to adoption is not just emotionally intense, but it also comes with immense financial challenges. With adoption agency fees, home studies, travel expenses, and several weeks of stay in Colombia, the cost exceeds $50,000. As you can imagine, back-to-back adoptions come with overwhelming expenses.
This is where we need your help.
Every single donation brings us closer to reuniting Aleja with her brother and giving him the forever family he deserves. We know that this is a large ask, but any amount helps—whether it’s $5 or $500, you are making a difference. If you cannot give financially, your prayers and sharing our story can help us reach more people.
As a military family, we have been incredibly blessed by the support and generosity of our community. We are also in the process of starting a new business to create more stability for our family. These are big undertakings, but with your support, we know we can make it happen.

Hey all! No real big news to update on. The first half of the process is just paperwork, signatures, and more paperwork. Now that we are settled in our new state we are working as diligently as possible to get through the home study and be able to send documents to immigration.
Your support and prayers have been amazing the last few months and we can’t wait to share the rest of our journey with you!!

Today, I started writing our LOI - letter of intent - saying we want to adopt W. There is a large outline of what is needed in the letter along with photos and videos of our family and our house/community. Once this is complete Colombia will review it and then we can continue on through the process.
Our first agency fee is due asap and it’s pretty hefty. We would be so grateful if you could share our story and this page with your family and friends 🙏🏼
