As most of you know, we are adopting!
November 2022 was when we officially decided we were going to take the first steps in a life long dream of adopting, and boy has it been a year! A long and grueling year as we slowly worked through all sorts of paper work and meetings!
We just finished our home study at the end of September and spent October getting final approval from the consultants we are working with. Our account is now set to active and we will start seeing cases any minute!
As part of our adoption process, we have started a crowdfunding campaign. It may surprise you that adoption-related costs can easily total $60,000 and $65,000. This is why we have set a goal of raising $20,000 to help ease the financial burden that often overwhelms adoptive parents.
We hope that you feel this invitation is a sweet way to come along on this journey and be a part of the community we build around our child as he/she grows up.
