We are super excited to finally announce that we are adopting (Lord willing)!! We have a huge heart for adoption and have always wanted build our family through adoption. We believe adoption is a picture of the gospel because Christ adopts us into his family when we become believers! While we are SO excited for this next stage of life, we also want to acknowledge that all earthly adoption starts from loss and that should not be minimized.
We are doing everything we can to prepare to welcome a beautiful new life into our home. As apart of the adoption process, we have decided to start a crowdfunding campaign. Adoption related expenses for domestic adoption can easily total up to $50,000 or more. We have set a goal of $30,000 to help ease the financial burden. Please do not feel obligated to give financially, but if you feel led to support we greatly appreciate you. We hope by inviting you into this process, you will see yourself as part of the community we hope to build around our future child.

Thank you for checking out our adoption page! This is where we will be posting the most up to date info about our adoption journey! Here are some common questions we have personally gotten in our journey!
Common Questions:
Q: What type of adoption are you doing and what agency are you using?
A: We are pursuing domestic infant adoption at this time, and we are using an Adoption Consultant Agency. This will allow us to use a multi agency approach and be active with multiple adoption agencies at the same time!
Q: Where are you at in the process?
A: We are currently in the home study process of adoption waiting for our home study to be approved! We have already been accepted into our adoption consulting agency and have completed our profile book that will be used in the matching process! Once our home study is approved, we will officially be able to start presenting to expectant parents!
Q: What about adoption ethics?
A: Having an ethical adoption is extremely important to us. One of the reasons we decided this route was best for us was the ethical standards our consultants have for agencies they work with, it can take our consultants up to 2 years to fully vet an adoption agency to ensure they are an ethical agency. They also equip us to make sure we are educated and can spot any red flags from other agencies in the process.
Q: How are you paying for the adoption?
A: Adoption can be extremely expensive especially the route of adoption we are pursuing and that’s why we hope to fundraise at least part of the the cost. We will be mostly paying out of pocket. We are blessed that one of our workplaces gives a small stipend to help with some expenses as well!
Q: How can you support us?
A: The biggest way you can support us it by praying for us, our future child/ their birth family, and all expectant parents who are looking into creating an adoption plan. If you feel called to give financially, there is also a way you can do that on this page!
Q: How can we stay updated on your adoption process?
A: We hope to keep all of our family and friends as up to date as we can! Obviously with adoption there will be a level of privacy involved and we may not be able to share everything or share immediately! We will be posting updates on our social media accounts as well as our fundraising website!
