Timothy & Tabatha Burger
are adopting a child from United States of America
Hi everyone! Most of you reading this know our story. But for those who don’t. Tim and I met in 2017. We always talked about wanting to have a family. We got married in 2021 and shortly after found out that due to medical issues we wouldn’t be able to have children. In 2023 we decided to become foster parents in hope to adopt eventually. We are now foster parents of an 8 month old baby girl that we’ve had right from the hospital. We decided to adopt because of all the uncertainty of foster care and the years it could take to adopt. We hope to be able to adopt our foster daughter one day. The whole adoption process is a BIG undertaking and we are already invested and underway. Private domestic infant adoption is surprisingly expensive. Ranging as much as 50-60k which includes the lawyer fees, fees to match birth mothers with adoptive parents, and travel expenses. Which can include weeks of out-of-state housing and food while the adoption is being processed. While we have the means to financially support and care for a child one they’re here. The reality is there is a substantial amount of money needed up front to bring our child home. We would greatly appreciate any contribution you would be able to make, to help us grow our family. Thank You Tabatha & Timothy Burger
