We are excited to share that we are adopting!
We celebrated our 8th wedding anniversary in July 2024 by receiving news that we were finally home study approved. This meant that we could begin the process of matching with an expectant mom!
Through the process we have felt a wide range of emotions. Most of all, we are excited to welcome a new little one into our family and thankful for how we've been blessed by God through the support of our family
While we are waiting to be matched, we are doing everything we can to save and raise money to pay for costs of adoption. Domestic infant adoption can be extremely expensive with the average cost between $20,000-$50,000 or more. That's a lot of money and a big range. These costs are associated with the state approval process, lawyers, some potential support for the expectant mother (depending on state & agency), counseling, post-placement appointments etc.
We know that our journey with adoption and a family will not end once we have been matched. We also know that it truly takes a village. Will join us in this journey?

Thank you to everyone who prayed, donated items or money, shared tables, helped organize before, during and after the sale and shopped this weekend! We raised more than we expected and are blessed by your generosity and support. Thank you for walking this journey with us to bring our little one home.
We're excited that this weekend we are holding a Garage Sale to continue to raise funds for our adoption. We have been so blessed by the many donations of items that the garage is completely full! We've been praying for great weather and that seems to be in the forecast too!
