I am excited to share some life-changing news with you — My son and I are beginning the journey to adopt a child internationally. This has been on my heart for a long time, and I’m ready to open my home and heart to a child who needs a loving family.

I am a special education teacher, behavioral therapist, and mom to a wonderful son with special needs. My personal and professional life has been dedicated to supporting children with unique abilities, and I feel deeply called to adopt a child with special needs who might otherwise be overlooked.

Adoption is beautiful, but it is also very costly. The total cost is about $30,000, starting with a $500 application fee. These fees cover the home study, agency and legal fees, government filings, travel, and post-placement support.
