Chad Caudle
is adopting a child from United States of America
I have some incredible news to share!
I’m deeply proud to announce that I’ve officially been approved for infant placement adoption through the Children’s Home Society of North Carolina. What makes this moment even more special is that I’m the first single, gay man ever approved for adoption through this process in our state’s history — and that truly means the world to me.
This approval marks the beginning of a lifelong dream to become a parent. For nearly two decades, I’ve dedicated my life to giving back to my community through Public Safety, working both in Fire and EMS. My career has been rooted in service, compassion, and the desire to make a positive impact on those around me. Now, I’m excited to bring that same dedication, love, and stability to a child who will soon join my family.
As I prepare to welcome a beautiful new life into my home, I’ve launched a crowdfunding campaign to help with the financial side of adoption and the home renovations needed to create a safe, loving space for a baby. The full adoption process can exceed $50,000, even when working through nonprofit and in-state channels, and I’ve set a goal of $25,000 to cover both the adoption expenses and the necessary home updates.
If you’re able to contribute — or even just share this with others — it would mean everything to me.
By supporting this campaign, you’re not just helping me become a parent; you’re also becoming part of the loving, inclusive community I hope to build around my future child as they grow.
Thank you for being part of this historic, heartfelt journey with me. Your support means the world!
With Love,
Chad
