We are adopting! We are so excited to welcome a little one who needs a home into our family. In the midst of all the excitement, we also have a lot of work and saving to do. Most adoptions in Florida cost around $50,000! That being said, if you feel any desire in your heart to help out, we would be so humbled and would appreciate it greatly! Thank you in advance for any help and prayers that you send our way. We can't wait to announce to you all that we have been matched and when we get to bring our little one home! ~ The Chaplains
Thank you sooo much to everyone who has donated so generously to our adoption fund. We have been so blessed by the help of our family, friends, and our church. We wish we could pay you guys back in some way, but we are just truly in awe and overwhelmed with gratitude!
Baby Elizabeth Grace is due this Monday, March 27th, in Oklahoma! We continue to ask for prayers for the finalization of the adoption to go smoothly and for Brandon and I to learn to be loving, godly parents! We will be posting pictures and updates soon.
Once again, thank you sooooo much! 💕
Hello everyone! We have some very exciting news! :) WE ARE MATCHED! It has been unreal the way God has put all of this into place. The little girl is due March 24th..... yup, so in a couple of weeks! Haha! Obviously, nothing is 100% until the baby is born and papers are signed, but we are preparing and anticipating for it to go well! I adjusted our financial goal because, as of right now, the adoption is supposed to cost less that we were expecting, which is AMAZING! We will continue to keep you guys updated. And we can't say enough how thankful we are to you guys for your support!

We just wanted to update all who are following along and supporting our adoption journey: today I was helping lead music at a women's retreat. I started praying about what God wanted me to surrender to him: the first thing I wrote down was money. If I'm being honest, that's something that I've never really worried about too much before, but it's been stressing me out a lot lately, between inflation and then trying to pay for an adoption on top of it all.
Anyway, this evening, when we got home and went for a walk, checked the mail, we were amazed to find friends and family had sent us a total of $7,050 in support of our adoption. And on top of that, I even got a refund from a surgery I had in 2021 for over $1,000. What amazing timing. It was such confirmation that Jesus has all of this under control. His heart loves adoption and bringing people into the family of God, and He will provide.
Thank you so much to everyone who has given. It's only because you guys have not only felt that tug on your heart but also chosen to respond. Brandon and I can't express how much gratitude we feel towards you all! <3 We will continue to update you guys.
We have also sold/made about $400 so far in our blanket and candle sales!
So, we are going to move our goal down to $40,000 due to the amount of support we have received outside of adopt together.
Thank you all again, 100 times!
