When Frank and I were newlyweds, we dedicated our hearts to whatever God’s plan was regarding children. Sixteen years into marriage, God has shown us abundant kindness through an arduous yet joyful journey in learning to lean on His goodness and grace. Throughout our journey, we have tried multiple fertility treatments, embryo adoption (2 babies in heaven), and a short time as foster parents. Honestly, we can say that we have wanted to give up more times than not. After watching the movie, Lifemark, Frank was inspired and applied to Lifetime Adoption. Through Lifetime, we hope to expand our family through domestic infant adoption. To have your prayers and support would mean the world to us. Several factors come into play, in terms of financial obligation. I wish we could easily afford this process, and yet, by God’s design, we are needing to ask for help. We are asked to pay for adoption services, a homestudy, attorney fees, birth mother fees, and travel fees. This journey is estimated to cost approximately $50,000. We trust God’s plan for building our family, and are prayerfully asking Him to provide for our needs.

We are fully aware of the financial strain many families are facing at this time, so we ask that you pray for us and ask the Lord to prepare our hearts and home for a child (Lord willing). Also, we ask that you pray for our child’s birth mother, and that our relationship with her would be fruitful and that we would be able to open our arms and welcome her as family into our hearts and lives (should that align with her desires).
