Bradley and I married in 2018, enjoyed our first year of marriage , and decided we were ready to begin a family in 2019. 2020, we found out that my chances of getting pregnant weren't as good as we'd hoped. So, we discussed the idea of adoption amongst ourselves and our families. Anyone who knows us knows that adoption is part of both of our lives. My family adopted my now little sister and Bradley's brother and his wife, their son. 2021, we began our adoption journey. In September 2022, we were given the opportunity of talking with an amazing birthmother who was interested in getting to know us! She has decided to move forward with us, and now comes legal and all the final expenses.
Adoption related costs can easily total $35,000 and more! As part of our adoption process, we have started a crowdfunding campaign and have a set goal of $28,000 to help ease the financial burden that often overwhelms adoptive parents. This money will help cover adoption agency, legal costs and birthmother costs that are expected of us while our baby grows in her belly.
