We are very excited to announce that we are adopting a baby!

As some of you know, adoption has been on our hearts for a very long time. Even before marriage, we discussed how important adoption is to us. This is the dream we have always had for our family. We are deeply convinced that the Lord placed this longing for adoption into our hearts. When we reflect on the love God has so richly poured out on us by giving us the right to call Him Father, our most natural reaction is to extend that love through adoption. We cannot wait to see God grow our family, and we are thrilled to share this journey with you all!

Adoption is very much a process, and we are still in the midst of that process. As part of our journey, we have started a crowd funding campaign. One of the surprising components of adoption is the cost. Our adoption is estimated to cost between $31,290 and $40,271. The company Elizabeth works for has an adoption assistance program, which will cover a portion of the funds needed. There are also grants that we are able to apply for, which would greatly help as well. While we do our home study and wait to be matched, we are hoping to raise $30,000 to help ease the costs associated with adopting. Our final goal may change over time as we get a more accurate sense of the cost for our given situation, and we will update you all accordingly. Any amount that you are able to give would be greatly appreciated! No amount is too small.

The most important way you can support us is through prayer. We have seen time and time again how God moves when His people pray. We are so blessed to have such an amazing community around us. We have seen such an outpouring of love already! We covet any prayers for our growing family, and we look forward to sharing this amazing journey with you all!
